Why Courts Keep Cracking

Temporary Fixes Don't Last

Freeze–Thaw Cycles

Water gets in.
Cold weather expands it.

Sub-Base Movement

The ground shifts.
The surface cannot.

Aging Surfaces

Over time, materials dry out and lose flexibility.

When surfaces become brittle, cracking is inevitable.

The RiteWay Difference

Often Imitated, Never Duplicated

The Industry Standard in Structural Repair

RiteWay is the industry standard in structural crack repair across all sport court surfaces, including tennis, pickleball, basketball, and multi-sport facilities. Unlike surface-level fixes that temporarily mask movement, the RiteWay System is engineered so that existing structural cracks can continue to move beneath the surface without compromising the integrity of the repair.

This is especially critical for pickleball courts, where tighter play areas and faster ball response demand a flat, consistent, tournament-ready surface. The result is a court that remains structurally stable under play — eliminating dead spots, hollow sounds, bubbling, and premature surface failure.

Facilities nationwide trust RiteWay to deliver long-term performance, professional-level playability, and structural reliability that outperforms traditional repair methods.

How It Works

Structural Repair Done Right

01

Apply RiteWay Tape

A high-strength reinforcement tape is installed directly over the crack to stabilize and control surface movement before structural layering begins.

02

Apply RiteWay Stress Mat

The stress mat absorbs and distributes movement, allowing the crack to flex beneath the surface without breaking through again.

03

Apply RiteWay Bonding Edge

A specialized bonding layer secures the system to the surrounding surface, ensuring seamless integration and long-term durability.

04

Finish with Flexible Coating

A flexible surface coating restores a smooth, uniform finish — delivering consistent play and nearly invisible repair results.

Who We Are

RiteWay Crack Repair is the original patented structural crack repair system, developed in 2007 to solve one of the biggest problems in sports surfaces: recurring cracks. Instead of simply covering cracks, the RiteWay System is designed to move with the court — delivering long-term performance and consistent play.

Founded by industry veteran Thomas P. Hinding, RiteWay was built on decades of hands-on experience serving municipalities, Division I universities, and premier facilities across the U.S. and Caribbean.

We are proud to have professional pickleball champion Tyson McMuffin as a RiteWay ambassador, representing our commitment to high-performance courts that meet the demands of elite competition.

Today, we continue to manufacture and support the system directly, ensuring dependable quality, expert guidance, and reliable service.

As we look toward 2026 and beyond, our focus remains simple: improve the technology, strengthen operations, and continue setting the standard for structural court repair.

  • What makes RiteWay different from other crack repair systems?

RiteWay uses patented membrane technology that creates a nearly invisible repair while allowing cracks to move without damaging the surface.

  • Will the cracks come back after being repaired?

The system is designed to flex with the court, helping prevent cracks from reappearing through the surface.

  • Will the repairs be noticeable?

No. Once completed and resurfaced, repairs blend in to create a clean, uniform appearance.

  • Does the repair impact ball bounce or play quality?

Not at all. Courts are restored to a smooth, tournament ready surface that provides a true, consistent ball bounce.

  • How long has RiteWay been in business?

RiteWay was established in 2007 and has repaired millions of feet of cracks across the United States and around the world.

  • Where has RiteWay been used?

Projects have been completed in all 50 states, Canada, Mexico, the Caribbean, and six continents.

  • Is RiteWay a patented system?

Yes. The RiteWay crack repair system is protected under US Patent No. 7,597,503, issued in 2009.

  • Who installs the RiteWay system?

Installations are completed only by Certified RiteWay Contractors who are personally trained by RiteWay staff.

  • How long does installation take?

RiteWay installs in roughly half the time of many traditional repair systems, helping get courts back in use faster.

  • How do I get started?
